Marco Lachi
Born in 1979, Florence – Italy. He works as planner in an architectural firm before graduate at the three years photography course at Fondazione Studio Marangoni in 2007. From 2005 to 2007 he attend the lessons of Guido Guidi at Accademia d’Arti di Ravenna and IUAV in Venice as free auditor.
In 2007 his work has been shortlisted for the Atlante Italiano 007 – Rischio Paesaggio held by Maxxi in Roma.
In 2013 his first book, How does it feel to be leaving the most beautiful city in the world? a collaboration with the writer Olufemi Terry, has been self-published with Documentary Platform editions.
In 2014 he has been invited to be part of the artist residency with Osservatorio Fotografico, within the project Dove viviamo, in Ravenna. The book – RUGBY – has been published the same year designed by Emilio Macchia.
